  • Produce quality UT passable welds.

Job Summary

The Bundling Technician is responsible for preparing fabricated steel assembled parts, into bundles, for shipping, according to customer specifications and job requirements.  These parts should be bundled in a safe, controlled, efficient manner, to meet customer shipment deadlines. This position is also responsible for gathering produced material; and grouping, by job and structure, for fulfillment of customer orders, in alignment with shipment demands in an efficient, effective and timely manner, which is necessary for on-time delivery, adding value to the customer experience and shipment traceability – all of which supports order fulfillment and accuracy of invoicing on shipped products.

Experience

This position requires the following education and experience:

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing the following duties:

  • The ability to prepare documentation and identification of bundled material; the ability to coordinate bundles per specified count, criteria, and details called for, on directives; and, the ability to understand and interpret pick lists, job travelers, and miscellaneous shipment documents

Job Summary

The Galvanizing Material Handler supports the galvanizing activities by loading, moving, handling, unloading and distributing materials within the plant. A materials handler has a very structured work environment to minimize safety risks. Each job is planned in detail and safety issues are addressed before a job begins.  Working as a materials handler doesn’t require formal education, but does entail extensive on-the-job training. Other requirements might include a commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Experience

  • Experience in working in steel industry or galvanizing, plus
  • Galvanizing industry experience applying A123/A123M-12 standard specifications for zinc coatings, plus
  • Ability to be forklift and overhead crane certified and operate a forklift and overhead crane. (Forklift experience required)
  • A strong working knowledge of hand tools and gauges such as impact wrenches, air grinder, drills, tappers, oxygen acetylene torches and mill gauges

Required to work on all assigned task and will work under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor.  Demonstrate the ability to repair, troubleshoot and upgrade a variety of industrial machines and equipment in our steel manufacturing facility.  In this role you will complete maintenance service and repairs of plant equipment, machinery, etc.  You will maintain buildings and plant facilities in clean, orderly and working conditions.  Responsible for building a positive working relationship across other departments with a main focus on production.

  3. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
  4. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the fabrication, positioning, alignment, and fitting the parts of structural steel products.  Position will assemble both finished products and the pieces that go into them.  The job of an assembler requires a range of knowledge and skills. Skilled assemblers put together complex structures. After determining how parts should connect, they use hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and make other adjustments to fit components together. Once the parts are properly aligned, they connect them with bolts and screws or weld or solder pieces together.

Job Summary:

This clerk position is tasked with assisting in ensuring the highest degree of product quality is achieved via current manufacturing processes. This position will work with company-wide QA/QC team and fabrication crews to establish quality standards and procedures, and identify quality improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • QC clerk performs daily inspection for quality control under quality control inspector.
  • These inspections will be documented for which training will be provided to a QC intern.
  • QC clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate and precise products; ensures timelines and appropriate sense of urgency in all aspects of quality control functions; and ensures that productivity and turnaround goals are met.
  • QC clerk updates training records under supervision of quality control inspector and is involved in business activities and gains valuable industry experience while working with top experienced professionals.
  • QC clerk ensures customer orders and forms are completed accurately, detailed, stamped and have appropriate signatures prior to final review by quality control inspector.

Job Summary:

Skilled position responsible for ensuring the highest degree of product quality is achieved via current manufacturing processes. This position will work with company-wide QA/QC team.

 

Primary duties will include the dimensional checking of fit-up on poles and structural steel, weld symbols and a general compliance to the specified detail drawings as well as AWS and AISC specifications.

Must be able to provide documents and certifications, including proof of experience hours according to A.S.N.T., TC-1A & Documented with signatures. We utilize A.S.N.T certified technicians only.

Responsibilities:

  • Has overall responsibility for performing the visual inspection of welded joints at the assigned plant.
  • Ensure that the fabricated steel is welded as planned, meets customer specifications, and inspections are completed as required to support workflow and sequence.
  • Reports and maintains inspection results. Prepares documentation required by the customer for certification that all quality procedures were followed.
  • Performs in-process weld inspections on poles and heavy structural steel welded assemblies.
  • Monitoring, and executing activities related to ensuring that inspections of welded assemblies are completed to the requirements of applicable specifications and codes.

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for the execution, coordination, and oversight of the administrative purchasing and inventory planning functions, the purchase order creation process, and the inventory control of non-inventoried raw materials, tooling, consumables, MRO, equipment, and supplies. This position is also responsible for maintaining current documentation regarding the purchasing system and procedures, in addition to, monitoring inventory and safety stock levels in conjunction with dollar values to maintain proper inventory levels.   1. Maintaining purchase order data, in addition to, preparing purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; and, obtaining approval from requisitioning departments and management.
